GERRY O. LANGLOIS - President & Founder

Gerry O. Langlois is the President and Founder of G.O. Langlois Construction, Inc., specializing in high-end custom residential properties in both California and Nevada.

For the better part of his youth, Gerry grew up in Burbank, California. It was there that his older brother connected Gerry with a summer job working for Herbert P. Beck, Inc., General Contractor in Tahoe City, California, where he first developed an interest in the construction industry as a career choice.

After high school, Gerry studied architecture at Glendale Community College, but preferring a more “hands on” approach opposed to the cerebral approach to learning, Gerry subsequently moved to Tahoe City, the town he most considers to be his “hometown.” An avid outdoorsman, Gerry relished life in the Tahoe Basin and honed his skills in hunting, fishing, skiing, and even ice hockey.  He even played a vital role as part of the region’s volunteer firefighting team.

Gerry learned the construction industry from the ground up with H.P. Beck as his mentor. He began as a laborer and carpenter apprentice, before moving up the ranks to carpenter, supervisor, and project manager. During the last years of H.P. Beck’s life, Gerry ran the company. It was during this time, Gerry earned his own contractor’s license.   After Mr. Beck’s passing in 1976 Gerry became a sole proprietor of his company, G.O. Langlois Construction, incorporating ten years later, in 1986.

Gerry was introduced the Coachella Valley from a Tahoe client who contracted G.O. Langlois Construction to complete two projects in La Quinta, California, and eventually moved his base of operations to the California desert, where he now resides.
