Our HISTORY
Since 1976, G.O. Langlois Construction, Inc. has been constructing architecturally designed custom residential properties as a premier General Contractor for both California and Nevada. Originating in North Lake Tahoe, building and renovating homes around the West Shore, North Shore, Incline Village and Glenbrook on the East Shore—G.O. Langlois Construction earned a reputation for upholding the highest standards of excellence.
In 1986, a client offered us the opportunity to build two custom homes in La Quinta. During our time in the California desert, we realized its growth potential and decided to make the Coachella Valley our permanent home. Since then, we have completed complex custom homes ranging from 4,500 square feet to 28,000 square feet. We align with the best architects and interior design firms, who revere our expertise and quality craftsmanship during all phases of new construction and extensive remodels.
Publications
The team’s latest project, as showcased in February 2017's issue of Palm Springs Life, is a European fantasy at a private club in Indian Wells, boasting Old World craftsmanship, fine millwork, and a devotion to detail that began from the ground up. The result is a stunning, brand-new home that looks as though it was plucked from a centuries-old Mediterranean village.
Inspired by the Southern French Mediterranean a young couple united the talents of Thomas Jakway, AIA Architect, Hendrix Allardyce Design, and G. O. Langlois Construction to create their 14,000 square foot family home which was featured in the February 2011 issue of California Homes.
The same trio of talent combined their efforts on a massive undertaking. The resulting Italian Palladian Villa is a magnum opus of more than 25,000 square feet and was featured in The Robb Report, October 2010.
Hendrix Allardyce Design brought the exquisite millwork of G. O. Langlois Construction to the Neo Classical remodel of two combined town homes on Lake Shore Boulevard, Chicago which was showcased in Architectural Digest, May 2007.
These projects demonstrate that the possibilities are infinite with G. O. Langlois Construction.
